I love this yarn! It was honestly a dream to work with. It was my first time using acrylic to make a full project and not just a swatch (I usually hate the texture of acrylic) and I bought this trusting the reviews as to its softness–everyone is right! This is sooo soft. I will absolutely be buying more of this yarn in different colors in the future. Don't hesitate to buy this!I used Betty McKnit's 6 Day Star blanket pattern and 6 skeins of this yarn. I used a 5.25 mm hook for the first few set up rounds and went up from there. I used slightly bigger hooks than the pattern saysAbsolutely no regrets about my yarn choice!

Caron simply soft yarn is my go to when working on any project, from blankets to amigurumi. The yarn slides along the fingers easily. It does not irritate sensitive skin. The glide is good for arthritic fingers, too. The drape and body of the finished product is excellent. And my little arigurumi projects look great. I would recommend this yarn to anyone with the caveat that it’s not very beginner friendly. It tends to be a little splitty, but once you learn how to work with that, it’s wonderful.

I used this yarn to join my squares and for the border of this skull throw. Compared to the bernat and redheart that I used for the squares, this yarn is softer, and has a luxurious feel. It's very nice to work with, and joins easily when adding the next skein. My new go-to yarn for blankets.
