I've been trying to find a way to securely store my Otamatone for three years. This case works great!! It fits my instrument perfectly, and has a very sturdy zipper and carrying strap. The hard-body case looks classy, and the material feels like it will last a long time. The only thing I wish it had that it's missing is a stable base, so I can set it upright. But that's just a small quibble of mine. This case works amazingly, and I couldn't realistically ask it for anything more!If you need to protect your Otamatone, definitely pick this up!

Nicely constructed hard shell case for my Otamatone. The case is a clamshell type with maximum stability around the spherical bottom of the instrument; The remainder of the case is less stable, allowing some flex in the outer case that might impact the instrument if enough force is applied. That said, a great case for backpack use, and most other applications.

I bought one of these funny Japanese Otamatone instruments and typically leave it sitting around with its funny face looking all cute and goofy, but this is a good protective case for when I need to store or transport it. I noticed the case design prevents the Otamatone from standing upright anymore; it can only be laid down on its side.

My daughter got an Otamatone for Christmas and this is a perfect case to protect it when she wants throw it in her backpack. It fits perfectly and is pretty sturdy. Highly recommend if you have an Otamatone!
