Took the keys out of the package, walked straight over to my 580SM, tried both keys. Locked/Unlocked the door and started the engine just like they're supposed to. Now I have good spares in the event I misplace a key.

Perfect fit! Keys work in every equipment I have to operate. So far I have no problems with the keys. One key was slightly bent. It was probably caught in a sorting mashie based on the look of an envelope it came in. I’m surprised both keys didn’t fell out and got lost. So note to the shipper, DON’T MAIL KEYS IN SOFT ENVELOPES!!!

These Case backhoe keys work just fine. It's hard to believe that Case uses the same key for almost every backhoe they make. No wonder they have been one of the most stolen pieces of construction equipment.
