Great watch! My daily beater! i wake up early for work and the illuminator light is bright enough to be used as a mini flash light to use in the dark. I love the design of the hands and the face of the watch and i have no problem reading the hands and knowing what time it is day or night.Seriously though, reading all these reviews about "I cAn'T rEaD tHe TiMe", the flipping hands are constantly showing you the time, if you read the time with the hands and are dependent on the digital screen, get a different watch! the digital display is negative and the light doesn't light it up, simply enough, you can't see it at night but the light is enough to show the the hands so you can see the time. i only use the little screen for the date.

To start, I like the large face and overall style of the watch. The buttons feel very durable as well. Setting up the watch was easy enough with a YouTube video. However, the reason for 4 stars is the back light. It’s definitely bright but It only lights up the analog portion of the face. If both the digital and analog sections of it lit up, that would be a guaranteed 5 stars.

The only thing I am not happy with is the night light. It’s the cave man light. Casio should make all background light like the glow. But it feels and fits perfectly as well as it’s the style watch I’ve been looking for. Great value as well!

Pros. Very tough, mineral glass, resin body, world time, timer, stopwatch, auto calendar, green color is perfect, display is very bright in sunlight, looks great, big watch. Strap is comfortable, watch is light for its size.Cons. Display is hard to read in low light, light is good enough to see hands, nothing else. I knew both cons before buying. I work outside so light is not an issue.Overall this is a good looking, tough, very large watch. I love it!!!I’ve only had it a day so I can’t speak for accuracy, it’s a Casio I have no doubt it’ll keep good time.

I would recommend the Casio G Shock but be prepared to read the manual and watch a few videos on YouTube to set the watch up it takes some time to set. It is a Large watch so if you have a small wrist I would not recommend this model. Overall it looks great and you can definitely see that it’s good quality. Make sure you purchase through Amazon or a reputable Casio dealer I made the mistake of buying a G Shock on EBay and it was a fake.
