These backing plates work great! I have a 3” Griot’s G8 DA polisher I use a lot to perform paint correction and perfection. Sometimes I accidentally drop the polisher and the first thing to get damaged is the backing plate! So I keep 4 or 5 spares in the shop at all times. There a perfect fit for the G8 and are easy to swap out and keep polishing. I recommend keeping a few on hand if you own a G8, it will save you a lot of time and money. 👍😎

Perfect fit for use with my Porter-Cable dual action polisher. Used it with Maguire's microfiber cutting and finishing disks and later with lake county black foam finishing pad. Very pleased with results. The backing plates appear to be better constructed, ergo stronger, than my previous 3 inch backing plates. If you need it to flex, this will do it, but requires a lot of pressure, let the pad do the flexing. So for flexibility it's better to use with a thick foam pad/disk.

Polisher backing plates tend to fall apart due to the heat when they are stored. These are a perfect replacement for my Griot’s polisher.

Backer pads were perfect, I do fiberglass and gel coat repairs just what I needed, but the attachment to my tools were wrong and I had to make an adapter but great all in all
