This pair of casting flask molds are made of cast iron, providing you with stability and durability. These frames hold the sand when a mold is being made. Flasks are designed with an alignment feature so that the top box and bottom box remain aligned firmly with locating pins to ensure casting is more dimensionally accurate. The relatively low cost and quicker results make this pair of molds a better choice for sand casting.

So I need to rate it 4/5.... does it work? Yes. But there's something about it that leaves me wanting more. I ended up just casting straight from the side in this rather then the top funnel.
