Did have a little dent in one corner that I was able to fix with a file. I would say they are fine for general machining.

Talk about hefty! Very nice for the price, I have not checked them yet for accuracy but I don't anticipate any issues.

I was going to buy these and surface grind them for regular machine work. I was shocked that they were so well matched. Within.0003†in parallelism, perpendicularly, and angularity; although I got lazy on my angularity test and just measured the hypotenuse. (Picture). I’m going to buy a second set and use them for welding V-blocks. Although I may feel guilty. Going to tap holes on the top side so I can fab a flat clamp to hold rounds on three points.

Hefty, arrived wrapped in oiled paper in a sealed plastic bag in a cardboard box, more than accurate enough for weld fixtures/jigs, so pretty I feel bad for what I'm going to put them through, but cheap enough that I don't have to care, might buy another set

They work great and I use them every day. They get a light layer of rust once in a while but nothing a sand blast cabinet can't fix. I would definitely recommend this.
