I bought this for a Thanksgiving Day dish. It will hold a lot more than you think AMA it stayed warm for a long while after coming out of the oven. I love the commute, looks exactly as the picture

It literally looks like it was painted with a can of spray paint! And all the handles came with spots that are missing paint! Wish I would’ve ordered a solid black one from a different company and saved myself about $20! Unfortunately I can’t return it because I need to cook in it for a dish I’m bringing to thanksgiving in 2 days

A well-made heavy-duty dish. Beautiful color. Lid fits perfectly. What with still being brand new and the fact that I'm still Crisco-ing it before each use, it cleans up easily. Since I do 'baby' my enameled cast iron, I'm hopeful that will continue.

For years I have been a devoted Pyrex fan, especially when it comes to lasagna pans. After I had one explode on me, I have been less enamored. Since being showered with hot glass and marinara, I moved on to metal pans, but they tend to rust after only a few uses.I was excited to get this heavy piece of kit. I love cast iron. I love that it heats evenly and then retains that heat. I love that if you treat it right, it can be non-stick, and will last forever.With that being said, my first lasagna turned out great. I did leave it in the oven a bit longer as it takes more time to heat up the pan as opposed to Pyrex or thin metal. With a full lasagna, this thing is very heavy.Why not 5 stars? Mine arived with a slight chip on one of the handles. I'm hoping it doesn't rust in that spot.In the end, this is a very solid piece of kitchen equipment that should last a lifetime.

I absolutely love this cast iron casserole dish with a skillet lid. I use it in my oven and my outdoor smoker. It is so versatile! It is easy to clean, a pleasure to serve in, and a perfect size. I am purchasing another for myself as well as one for my friend. You will not be disappointed in this set.

I have a Dutch oven — which this essentially is, just rectangular, not round — but sometimes don't need a pan that big. This is perfect for casseroles, shakshuka, or any number of recipes that call for baking in a heavy dish. This is high-quality cast iron, so is heat tolerant and retains heat well. Like Spanish egg casseroles? Perfect for it.The packing spared nothing: Very professional and virtually guaranteed that your pan will arrive in perfect condition. When I did unpack it and put the lid on, it didn't seem like a tight fit (which you need with a pan like this), but soon discovered that you have to put it on the pan precisely — and then it's a perfect, tight fit.This durable, versatile pan can be used for baking, roasting, and even frying. The finish is very good and doesn't seem prone to chipping, like some cookware I've had.This is excellent quality and a great value. I highly recommend it.
