I use these Trivets when I bake homemade Sourdough bread using an enamel Dutch oven to keep the bottom of the bread from burning/overcooking. They work great.

These trivets are sturdy. One has short legs and the other has longer legs so it gives you different options when used in a cast iron dutch oven. Great for baking bread so the bottom of the bread doesn't scorch.

It is nice and heavy. Medium at diffusing according to my opinion. Wanted more myself but do like. Maybe veggies and meat instead of pancakes and eggs.

I love cooking bread in my dutch oven and this works fabulouly at preventing the bottom from burning. The bread comes out crispy all the way around. You can't beat it.
