I have a big Maine Coon and he has BIG paws that catch a lot more litter than an average cat. I also go barefoot in my house and really, really hate the feel of stray cat litter on my feet and the germs from any possible cat piss in my house. So I work really hard to minimize it.I’ve tried various types of litter mats over the years and they all worked a little, as in better than nothing. The one I liked best trapped maybe 30-40% of litter, but was difficult to clean. Some litter never came out.Well, the Bomba works much better at trapping litter, prob 80% or more, and the mat cleans up much better and easier than the others. ALL the trapped litter comes out. You don’t have to take it outside to shake it. Also, if some stray poop or dingleberries drop on it when my kitty exits his box, an antibacterial wipe usually cleans it. I’m not sure if it’s recommended, but I have run the mat through the washer on gentle and set out to dry - came out great.The mat is soft and comfortable under my feet and my feet don’t touch the trapped litter. My cat has no problems walking on it, but I did take a minute with him at first to show it to him and give him treats while he stood on it since it does look and feel a bit different than his other mats and I wanted success.It seems well-made, but we’ll see how it holds up. Honestly, if it lasts a year or two, it’s still a good value. There was no odor when I opened the package. Me and my big boy both like it a lot. No more constant sweeping and vacuuming, maybe once a week now.

This mat does exactly what it is supposed to do. Catch and trap litter. Easy to empty right back into the box. I didn’t have any problem with the crease in the mat staying, maybe because the edge of the litter box is on it. Seems to be durable, works well and keeps more litter in the bathroom, than tracked all over the house. I will say the mat is soft enough, but one cat seems to avoid it like the plague. Maybe just the texture. Still worth every penny.

This is a miracle product. I have six indoor cats so I sweep up a LOT of litter. There's a lot less litter all around my house now. It's a great product and worth every penny.

I purchased this to see if I could reduce the amount of litter. My poor little cat drags through the hallway. I believe it has cut it down at least 50% if not more. I’m thinking about buying a bigger one to put just outside the door of the room.

Definitely cuts down on litter being tracked far from the box. One of our cats actually sleeps on it sometimes, but he’s a weirdo.

We decided to move a litterbox from the basement to an upstairs bathroom to make things a bit easier on our 17 yo cat. While we were sure we did the right thing for him, litter scatter was an issue. This mat is great. It doesn't capture all of it (might be unrealistic) but has significantly cut down on how much scatters. Clean up is easy. We usually just vacuum it but sometimes pick it up an dump it out. It was also eary to clean after that one time that kitty upchucked on it.
