If you love your feline fur child like I do, you will definitely need to order this toy for them! My little girl loves this toy. It is absolutely entertaining and what is incredible is that the remote allows you to change the direction of this little robot mouse! There are different speeds to entice your little love for the ultimate play time experience! Should this little magical mouse run into the counter or wall, it automatically readjusts itself and moves on in another direction. This is a great, quality toy that provides hours and hours of entertainment. This is actually a great toy for elderly people or people like myself with back issues to play with my fur child. It doesn’t require me to sit on the floor, bend, hunt for the toy; just simply use the remote and be prepared for lots of laughs followed by purrs. Highly recommended this toy!

This toy is a lot of fun. It can run independently or it has a remote control so you have the option to play with your cat with it. The only quibble I have (and the reason I did not give it 5 stars) is that it gets caught quite often on even low-pile rugs. It is fun and would be great with a kitten. I have adult cats and they enjoy watching it.

I've tried a few different toys to keep my feline significant other occupied during work days. Most have failed to attract her discerning attention. (After all, she must maintain appearances, which includes showing good taste in her selected activities.)The mouse does well on hard floors and has rudimentary collision avoidance - kind of like a baby Roomba that hasn't fully developed. It rolls off in random directions and attracts attention. It also does a great job of righting itself if it tips over. What's more, my cat has even shown mild interest in it!It has a remote control to make matters even more fun. If I had a little more space, I would use that feature more often. It probably would be more fun than an RC car.Battery life is a little short, but it's easy to recharge. I like that I don't have to replace batteries every time it gets low.I can see where any normal cat or dog would love this thing and chase after it endlessly. My cat is a little different, and seems to spot artificial anything pretty quickly. If nothing else, I've had fun chasing it down, finding where it last went and encouraging my S.O. to enjoy it too.Definitely worth the money. In all honesty, she may warm up to it before much longer.

I already ordered a replacement because originally I thought my remote must have been defective because it didn't have the pull tab to remove (like it says in the instructions) and no button I pressed seemed to have an effect on the toy. Now I got my replacement, and it's the exact same thing. The instructions provided are extremely vague and don't provide any instruction on why the remote isn't working. It says "press button in standby mode", but then doesnt explain what standby mode is. I have tried pressing the remote buttons when the toy stops after the initial 5 minutes, nothing. I tried when the light is green, nothing. I tried when the light is blue, nothing. And I have struggled to find any information to help me anywhere on this amazon page or the internet.The toy is also extremely fast, and again the speed button on the remote does nothing. It's way too fast for a cat to get a good hunting experience. My cat is interested in it but then it will turn and come charging at her and she has to jump away. Extremely disappointed and annoyed by this toy, why would they not provide a users manual or make a functional remote? I dont understand how all these other people are using the remote function, and I need it for the toy because the automatic mode is way too chaotic and fast.

It scared my cat to death. It starts itself and flips itself over if it gets stuck it works its way out. It flies all over, but it scared my cat so I gave it to my niece, and it scared her cats, and she has three of them so I don’t know about this toy.

My cat took time to get used to it but he likes playing with it and it’s really a great battery life, not very noisy, light, and its sensors work great. It’s good quality and cute too

This cat toy has high potential but fails to make the grade after just a few hours.I was initially very impressed with this toy and so was our litter of 9 week old kittens.They chased it and played with it for much longer than any other toy.That is, until it ...- gets stuck in a dead-end hallway (bouncing off the 3 walls for minutes) or- gets stuck caught with its fuzzy tail wrapped around its wheel when it goes in reverse or- its wheel comes off during normal use or- it just shuts itself off and requires hooman to find it and press the power button (battery not dead).The remote, when it works, works well but it seems to have a limited range and it doesn't wake up the napping toy.With no LEDs, it's hard to tell if the remote is working and sadly, to replace the battery, a very unconventional screw is used to secure the battery door and it requires a special TA triangle screwdriver to remove it.I would definitely consider buying version 2.0 of this toy when it fixes these issues but as it is, I can't recommend it and likely will return it.A different toy purchased at the same time (ball with attached stick and feather) has none of these problems and is much quieter and amazingly, when it naps, it wakes when it hears a loud sound.
