This is the only litter my kitty likes and I've tried multiple brands over years with her specifically and other kitties.She is 8 this year in 2025. Other brands she would be irritated and use outside of the litterbox even when there was little to no use, now that I am assuming due to alarming scents/ingredients.This litter scoops very well and it does hide ammonia/stink even though it is unscented.Low dust which is great. Easy cleanup and great price compared to drug-store prices and brands. Tracks a bit but that is normal cleanup and maintenance for our feline friends.

No question that this is very dusty, as evidenced by the perpetual, thin layer of soot-like film covering the cats' bathroom (tub, toilet, sink, fixtures, picture frames - you name it). We have extraordinarily large litter boxes due to a finicky cat, so more typical boxes may not have this issue. After about six months of using this brand, however, it's time to look for something else. A few observations:Pros (which outweighed the cons for a while):- It is truly unscented and lightweight.- Tracking is definitely less than standard clumping litters.- I realize plastic isn't a brilliant container option, but do like the handle/pour-out design. Very easy to use.Cons:- No real odor control, guessing partly because it's unscented. Adding an odor neutralizer to the box improves this without adding much to total cost.- Does not clump as well as other brands. Fecal matter is fine, but urine clumps often disintegrate when being scooped, which makes it hard to clean the box well.- Incredibly dusty! When pouring into a box and also when scooping. Someone with a single standard/small box should have a better go of it.

I have a big male cat and his urine will knock you out. I tried another cats pride and the litter box was awful I tried the antibacterial and you would never know I have a cat, and the clumping is awesome. I have not tried the light weight yet but the regular is amazing .this litter lasts me longer then any other litter I have tried .Also I recently switched to a metal litter pan and that makes a huge difference as well. But I used this litter before I changed to the metal pan

I just want to say that I think that Cat's Pride makes great quality unscented clumping cat litter all around. It's a little bit more expensive but I don't mind paying a bit more for the quality. Overall it has great odor control, forms tight clumps that are easy to scoop, and doesn't track much (at least out of my top-entry litter boxes).One downside is that the urine clumps are a bit "fragile" and if you accidentally break one while scooping, it tends to fall completely apart very quickly. Not a big deal, and as long as you scoop under and then up this doesn't happen, but it's a little annoying when it does.Now onto why I gave this product 3 stars. The first Cats Pride product that I tried was their "Triple Odor Guard" (comes in a blue jug, a local store carries it but I can't find it anywhere online). I decided to try switching to this one thinking that it would be a little better and easier to have it delivered. It is NOT better.I find that this litter does a much poorer job elimiating odors and the smell of my cats poo lingers, while with the Triple Odor the smell goes away the second it is buried. I've also found that this litter gives off a "litter smell" even when it is clean, while with the Triple Odor I had guests comment on how "it's like I don't even have a litter box," even when they are standing right next to it.The difference is significant enough that I will cancel my online subscription and continue buying the other product from my local store.

It can definitely mask the smell of cat pee for 10 days as stated but not poop. I find that I need to remove it immediately or the whole room starts to stink. On one or two occasions where my cat buried her poop to the very bottom, I don’t notice the smell. But in the three months that I used this litter, this only happened twice so I usually have to remove her poop immediately. It also clumps really well. But after 10 days I need to remove tiny pee clumps from the litter or it starts to really smell.Definitely no dust as stated although 1 container out of 3 had a minimal amount in it. This litter also tends to get stuck in my cat’s paws and tracks everywhere she goes. I like this litter overall but it is not the best for sure. I’ve used other litter in the past that masked her poop and pee really well without tiny clumps being formed for 30 days. Sometimes even 60. Will update my review after I try other litter brands.

I purchased the cat litter based on solid reviews. I too am giving it an excellent review. It’s a good size container, but not too heavy for me to lift to fill up the cat pan or refill the cat pan. My cat loves it. What more could you want? This is now going to be my go to cat litter.
