I loved how heavy duty these are.On the front these are a little hard to install if you don’t know what you’re doing. I bought 3†long deck lag screws and drilled new holes for mounting. You can see in the photos how I drilled through the mud flap into the metal truck fender support to pull the flaps closer to the truck and add extra strength.Rear mud flaps were easy, you can use the existing fender holes to mount mud flap. I made a carats template for both sides marked the holes on the truck then transferred files to mud flap.

I’m sure these specific mudflaps work well. However, I was reluctant to mount them due to their excessive weight and the need to drill. There is very little flange area on the wheel well lip to support these heavy flaps. In addition, I was afraid that I would accidentally hook some stationary object off road and tear through the thin metal flange the flaps are mounted to.

Ordered this for my 2005 Tacoma. Thought that it would be great as the OEM got ripped.Went to attach it and 👎 no holes to attach it to the fender well. Being not so knowledgeable I started drilling. Eventually after MANY holes got it to kinda line up. Now the screws. They are too short to catch onto the wheel well.Like I said I'm not too mechanically inclined. So now I have these two new fender guards with a bunch of holes ready for the garbage.If you're mechanically inclined they're great ðŸ‘. Nice and sturdy.
