This was my first time getting cross stitch fabric so I did go to Walmart and grab some to compare them. First I noticed this one is very stiff compared to the one from Walmart. Secondly I noticed a difference in the holes. Some didn’t line up correctly or there were two in places. My first time ever working on a cross stitch it came out looking decent with only minor flaws, so I was proud of that, however I didn’t like how stiff the material was.As a beginner, this suited my needs, but I probably wouldn’t get it again solely because of that.

My initial thoughts on this was all positive. As a beginner to stitch art, I found that this did everything I needed to do without any issues. I didn't have a problem loading it onto a hoop, I didn't have any problems actually stitching with it. When my piece is done, maybe I'll come back and upload a picture if I can remember to.I saw the other review that sort of blasted it, and I really do appreciate an experienced stitchers opinion, but I think that this is really perfect for a beginner who doesn't wanna invest a bunch in the craft unless they know that they're gonna be into it. For a beginners purpose, this is perfect and a great price. Maybe if I stick with it and get more advanced I'll want something nicer, but for now this will suit all of my needs. I'm happy with this for a starting point in the hobby!

I got a Caydo brand embroidery kit last year that was pretty good, so I had hopes for this aida- but sadly, it's pretty disappointing. It's not overly starched/scratchy, but that's the only serious plus. It has a weird, slick feel to it- while the packaging doesn't specify what's it's made of, the texture & the warning to avoid high temperatures makes me think it's cheap polyester. I'm not sure this will be safe to iron, I'll have to check that once I can protect the board sufficiently. The material is very poorly cut- not only is it crooked to the weave on all sides, there's a clear bump on one. It's just under 10 inches on one side too. I suspect there's only 9x9 inches of usable area... 9 1/2 inches at best. But worst of all- it's not to count. When you put a ruler to it & count out a square inch, it's 14 squares by 13 squares. Anything you sew on this is going to be misshapen. Given that square pieces like this are often used for hooped finishes, it's especially bad- unless you leave a big margin between the design & hoop, the size issue is gonna be obvious. I'll be honest, I'm not sure I even want to keep this! Spend you money elsewhere, this aida isn't worth it.

This ate a fabric comes in pre-cut prefinished squares, which makes it easy to do projects. No more having to tape the edges or cut off of a roll that snaps back. The fabric is nice quality stiff enough for punch embroidery yet soft enough for regular embroidery. The size is perfect for my own use and the color is smooth and unblemished. Overall, the fabric works well and is a good value.

These are pretty good pre-cut pieces of aida. They're straight on two sides and the others are a little jagged but not too bad. You'll still want to use some fray away or use tape or a blanket stitch to keep the edges from fraying. The sizing is about right too. All in all it's what I expected

We ordered this fabric for my wife's cross stitch hobby. The fabric is good quality with a bright white color and the manufacturer did a good job of making the sheets square. She is currently working on a project, and is finding that the weave seems to be a little tight which makes it difficult to do a nice quarter stitch. This may be because the weave is actually tight, or it could be that amount of starch makes the fabric a little too stiff. Overall, she is having a good experience with the fabric and is glad that we ordered it.

This is a nice set of cross stitch material. I'm new to the hobby so having some blank sheets to practice and learn is handy. The quality feels nice and sturdy, and the size works well for me.
