I bought these specifically for several pieces of Lodge cast-iron pans, in hopes that they would fit pretty well. They fit perfectly on everything down to the small 6 inch pan up to the 15 inch pan. They conform nicely to the handle on each. They’re also nice and thick and comfortable feeling.

I bought these back in 2022 and they still seem new! I don’t feel the heat from the cast iron handle due to these awesome pads. Very durable and great value!

Brilliant additions for Cast Iron Skillets that don't have separate or protected handles. Strong enough to stay on, does not slip off and saves you from using whatever cloths you can grab at a moments notice.

If you leave these handles off your pan while cooking and only slip them on when you need to move the pan, then these handles work great. They are also very easy to clean which is a plus.Negatives, I use these for my Lodge cast iron pan. If you leave the covers on the pan while cooking (I use an induction stove top) the heat of the handle seeps through these covers and can be pretty hot or burn if you hold on to long. I have also found that the covers have started to deteriorate and singe from the heat. Lastly, the covers slip around on my cast iron pan handle making it hard to grip and maneuver the pan easily.

These covers fit my pan handles perfectly. I like that they are red and stand out as a reminder the pan handle is hot. Most frequently used when using a pan on stove to oven back to stove (but cover is only on the handle while on the stove, not while in the oven).
