We have some nice CCS options in a Supercharger desert here in northern Wisconsin. This unit has performed well, and paid for itself in the first two weeks, by giving access to providers at 25 cents per KWH, about half of Tesla’s charge in our area. Glad to finally have it.

The Tesla charger adapter works as intended, but it feels quite lightweight and lacks the solid construction you’d want in something used frequently. While I wouldn’t rely on this as my primary charging solution, it’s a convenient and inexpensive option to keep in the car. It’s especially useful for those occasional situations where the only available charger is a CCS type. As a backup or emergency solution, it gets the job done, but the overall build quality leaves room for improvement.

My daughter has a model 3 and sometimes the lines to use Tesla superchargers are quite long and she needs to do a fast charge. that's where this adapter has come in really handy for her and she loves it. I watched as she connected a CCS/J1772 charger to this adapter which then went into her Tesla M3 And I watched her pour the voltage and the amperage through it and top up her car in about 25 minutes and that was from nearly 0 per cent remaining. so I know it will handle the voltage and I know it will handle the amperage and it doesn't get that hot and she said the car never recorded any thermal throttling or any reduction of Charging speed due to heat, and that's the big issue with these adapters. so this is a good one and we definitely recommend it.

I got this CCS1 charging adapter, to fit into my Tesla Model Y. As I'm always on the lookout for cheap ways to charge my vehicle, I found that some older charging stations are free, but include these CCS connections. Since free is a good thing, I'd need to adapt those charging cables to fit into my car. And, these would charge the car much more quickly than the J1772 connections. This adapter claims it will do just that.First impressions, this thing is huge. It's bigger than my hand. I don't know why I expected it to be smaller, but it really surprisingly large. This is not something that's going to get lost in my charging kit. It seems to be well made, but appears to be a plastic housing around the internals and not a solid piece of heavy plastic. It does look to be quite well-made and has some heft and weight to it.I haven't actually taken it to the charging station yet, because there's not one close to my house, but I will enjoy having it in my charging kit for the next time I need it. I will update my review when that time comes. I can't imagine that it won't work like it says it will, as that is the whole purpose.It did come packaged in a decent little cardboard box, with some form-fitting foam protection. I will probably leave the adapter in that box until it wears out.Next stop, a CCS charging station, to test it out!
