When I got the CD player out of the box, I tried to charge it. It only had a charging cord. It did not come with a charger. The instructions did not mention special charging requirements. I tried to charge it using my equipment. Several hours went by, but it wasn't charged. I went to this page and found out that it should have charged in that time. Someone mentioned in the comments that an AC adapter should be used to charge it. I was able to fully charge it using my Anker Power Port.I manually turned it on. I could only get the CD menu. I tried using the remote. It didn't work. I had gotten this player so that I could listen to CD's through my Bluetooth headphones. According to the instructions, the remote was the easiest way to get to the Bluetooth menu. Since the remote doesn't work, there is no point in my keeping this defective piece of equipment. I will be returning it.I do not want a replacement. This is not new technology. CD players and Bluetooth technology and remotes have been around for decades. I do not understand why, in this day and age, an expensive piece of junk like this can be manufactured.I will try my luck elsewhere.

It's volume is ok but you will probably want to add a speaker to get better volume. Otherwise seems great. I like that I can set start, stop and repeat of sections of a song.

Did you ever think you didn't need something until you got one? Well, I didn't think I would ever need a product like this, until I bought it! It's perfect, convenient and I am so glad I ordered it. My go-to now, when I sit outside on my deck, without having to blast my music from in the house, but instead, I now have my music and cd's with me, enjoying the fresh air, and most of all, my good music. Buy one of these, you will not be disappointed. I love this player, wish I had it before now. It's an attractive dependable little gadget with a remote control, headphones and a great price. Go for it, you will be glad you did!

i have gone through so much trying to find a cd player i could listen to with and without earphones, finaly i found this one, so far so good! it has built in rechargeable battiers and FM radio [i havent listened too , and dont care ] it has a remote control I just got it and it sounds pretty good, sounds just like the am radio of the 1950's, i know i was there then, im happy with this, and i hope it lasts, so far its worth the money it wasnt that expensive under 70 dollars. I will up date if it breaks down. now i can play all my CD's YEAH!
