To compensate for lack of a CD player in my Toyota Corolla, I purchased a Monodeal MD 602. I have been extremely pleased with the product, finding it relatively easy to use and connect for the seven months that I have had it. I have an extensive CD collection, so finding a reliable portable unit was important to me.I have since purchased the new Model MD 709. Given the ease of bluetooth connectivity, I plan on using this unit in my home, replacing an older, clunkier CD player. It has connected seamlessly to all my bluetooth devices (speakers, ear buds,etc). For a technologically challenged geezer like myself, the user's manual was simple enough to guide me through the installation process. Like the 602, I have been impressed by the 709's performance to date.I find this unit easier to navigate than the 602 due to the TFT color screen and button layout. Overall, it's brighter and easier to read. Although I generally connect to bluetooth devices for better sound, I find the unit's internal speakers (the equalizer controls 7 different sound effects) are adequate when working outside or when bluetooth connections are unavailable.The FM and sleep functions are nice features, although I do not plan on using them extensively. Battery life is excellent and as advertised.I have been impressed with the quality of the Monodeal products that I have purchased. The value for the price is excellent, and I would certainly recommend the MD 709 to those looking for a economical, but effective CD player.

CD PLAYER: Arrived well packaged and fully charged. Controls and display screen are back-lit, which is a BIG plus. Size is nearly the same as a previous 2022 MONODEAL portable CD player that I purchased. Actual size: 5.3 x 5.9 x 0.99 inches. (I am still using that other MONODEAL 2022 player 2 years later and it works great) This new model has added functionality, with several modes and upgraded, built-in speakers that sound quite good for a small unit. The TFT color display is bright and clear. . . 7 different EQ/sound effects can be applied to your music playback. The Instruction booklet is adequate, since a CD player is not rocket science. The set up to connect to my bluetooth earphones was simple enough, with just a bit of experimenting with controls. . . The A-B function will loop a section of music of your choice. (not tried yet) With the support for TF cards for my chosen music files, I have several music library choices, and can switch between the modes, using either CD or Playlist. (TIP: press the "â–¶ll" button AFTER choosing TF MODE. . . I am very happy with this upgraded CD Player. The full-featured technology is great, and MonoDeal has another superior product!

I had another portable CD player but returned it to Amazon as it kept turning on even when it wasn’t turned on. That player wasn’t in the same league as the MONODEAL model MD-709.The MONODEAL MD-709 plays MP3, MP4. FLAC, WMA, and other formals on CDs, CDRs, and CDR-Ws. This provides a wide variety of formats on an equally wide variety of media.But the MD-709 goes a step further and also has a slot for a TF card (same size as a micro SD card. It will hold up to a 32Gb TF card (about $10). You can put about 2,600 songs on that card, in any of the formats mentioned previously.The sound quality is high when played through headphones or Bluetooth speakers. I’ve connected to various Bluetooth headphones as well as an Amazon Echo and a Sony soundbar all daily connected and the sound was great.There’s an equalizer built in and it has POP, ROCK, CLASSICAL, JAZZ, COUNTRY, BBS and NORMAL settings. I like ROCK for moist music I play as it boosts the bass.It’s very portable and includes in ear headphone, a wire to connect headphones, and a charging wire.It also can connect to your car’s FM radio through an unused FM frequency. The sound is good , and you can play the TF card or a CD through your car radio.The player feels sturdy, and the anti-skip technology will ensure you can transport the player and enjoy music that won’t skip while you walk to your car.

Such a nice little unit. I like the digital look when it’s on. Works great. I have so many cds and do not want to have to load everything to my phone. Nice alarm feature. The sound is okay but not an issue for me because I connect to my favorite speaker. I will use this in my cars which no longer come with cd players. Rating a 4 due to the sound and it’s a little complex to connect the Bluetooth, but I am getting the hang of it.
