This worked great. I was having an issue with the engine not revving above 2500 RPM, and swapping the Power Pack did the trick. The CDI Power Pack was substantially less than the OEM version so I thought I would give it try, and it worked perfectly. It was very easy to install with excellent instructions. This is the second CDI product that I have put on my engine and I am very happy with both.

I returned the part because I believed it was defective from stock. In the end I found a pinched wire in a harness that caused the defect. The boat would start but not stop after I installed. The manual said it was a faulty power pack but it turned out that when you install the power pack it would pinch the wire and cause it to stop working. Once you removed the power pack the harness on the boat would test correctly. Most companies will not accept a return on electrical items so I was impressed they accepted it back. I will certainly purchase from this vendor in the future.

Excellent product only thing that had to be changed is the oem mounting bolts had to be swapped out for some that are 1/4†longer but unit performed flawlessly.

Replaced the Cdi box and fixed the no spark issue. After a few times using it, it failed. Only went out about 5 times. The last one I bought from this company lasted about a year and a half before failing. Pretty poor quality when the original lasted over 20 years. need to look into another brand or oem

If your stator burned out there is a high chance it also took the power pack with it. We heard this was common and after weeks of diagnosis this new power pack had the engine roar back to life. 1994 Evinrude 60hp

If you don't hear an audible "click" or feel the connection detent when plugging this in, wrap a zip tie through the wiring harnesses on both plugs to make sure they don't come apart.
