Your cart is empty. The CE Smith Axle Tie Plate Kit is a complete solution for anyone looking to mount fresh springs to a fresh axle. This kit includes everything you need to ensure a secure and durable installation.
Each kit includes:
2 galvanized tie plates, 3.5" x 3" - Smith P/N 20022G
4 yellow zinc plated u-bolts, 3/8"-16 x 2" (1-5/8" inner) x 3-3/8" - Smith P/N 22003ZY
8 zinc plated nuts and lock washers, 3/8"-16
The galvanized tie plates are designed to provide added strength and longevity, while the yellow zinc-plated U-bolts ensure a secure fit. The kit also includes zinc-plated nuts and lock washers, making it easy to install. Please note this kit is suitable for 1-1/2" square axle.

Busted my axel ubolt after I over torqued it on accident. Tried 3 different replacements and none fit. 16 week lead time for the actual replacement and then this came up. The ubolts were almost identical size. The tie plates didn't line up so had to use the existing but that was fine in my case.

Worked well for my 1.5" square trailer axle. Glad it came with lock washers. The quality of this hardware kit could use some work. The coating on the plates arrived flaked and scratched. The bolts themselves are not stainless steel. These will rust; especially if used in salt water.

U bolts are too short if you have 3 leaf springs. Ended up only using the tie plates...
