I used this lopper to cleanup nearly a quarter acre of overgrown lawn behind my father's house. He'd been ignoring it and only cutting the grass back to his shed, resulting in a huge area filled with saplings and thorny brush. The Cedar lopper really made it a breeze to cleanup though. If I'd used a standard lopper I'd have needed to crouch several hundred times before I was done. Being able to get a nice flush cut at ground level instead of sharp angled cuts was great as well.

I used this for removing Asian Honeysuckle. It worked great. Being 68, it’s nice not having to bend over. It could use a safety latch for when not in use, but it did the job and I enjoyed it

I'm in business. I rarely give bad reviews, because I know how much effort goes into delivering a product. That said, I bought these because of their high price. I wanted the best quality and was willing to pay $150 for it. I used these for 3 hours before the anvil snapped off. Loppers this expensive ought not break, perhaps ever, and certainly not so soon. Replacement parts not available on Amazon. But I can pay another $25 on their website with no confidence they won't just break again. Meanwhile, the rusty old pair of loppers I've had for decades still work. I'm giving up. This product is going in the dumpster. I'm going back to traditional loppers. Bad product, especially for the price. Do not recommend.

I really wanted this to work, great idea but couldn't justify the high price for the limitations I had in my given usage area.Honestly, I would have kept around if half the price I paid ($158.00) at the time.Item not as expected for the high price. weak lopper jaw, loose fittings, continual need to clear jaw while in use. It has a tendency to pull in small brush to the back of the jaw and bind up, you have to clear that each time by hand, the number of times this happens means you're always fighting the tool to get it set for the next cut.Not long enough for 6'3'' user found myself bending over even at full extension.Jaw to lever ratio not useful in brush; you have to fully open the long handles to open jaw enough to go around brush at ground level, constant fight to get angle right as you had to move the handles away from trees and brush to open fully.Fully extended handles provide a lot of leverage, but the handles give/bend when trying to cut through brush at its maximum rated cutting limit. All and all, great tool for light work in a clear, brush free environment, not great for clearing brush on the edge of the woods on my land.if they come out with a bigger, better jaw and longer/stiffer handles at a decent price point I'd give them another chance.

I purchased these cleverly designed loppers for a very specific purpose, cutting

I am absolutely in love with these loppers. It always bothered me that there were so many sprouts on the sides of my property. This gave me the ability to easily cut them down to ground level without issues.
