My down stair is very cold no matter it is a winter or summer. There is no door or wall separate the floors. Since all the warm air goes up, and I don't want to build a wall the, so I decided give the curtain a try to keep the heat to go up. Also I can close the curtain when I am not downstair, it does not lost orgainal open space feeling.

As soon as I got it, I installed it immediately.Great device works as well as expected, high quality ceiling curtain track that ensures outstanding curtain use. It handles the curtain smooth, the rail shapes to the way l wanted, is firm as well.

Bought this to hide a corner my husband piled all his stuff into in our living room and it's done the job well. Brackets went up fast and easy, attaching curtains no problems. It's pretty smooth to move curtains if you need. Seems like a quality product and seems well made.

They give you two sets for attachment: ceiling or wall. There are 10 pieces that hold on the wall or ceiling; each one has two holes. One hole is visible with the track in it and the other is not. The instruction say to set these mounting clips 10 inches from the end of each of the five, 3-foot track sections. Rather than raise the whole track up, I measured 10" from the wall and made my first mark, then measured 16" from that, then 20" form that, then 16" from that and 20" from that until I got to the end. That put each piece at 10" from the end of each 3-foot section. I used a laser leveler to ensure my line stayed straight and it worked like a charm. Once I attached each ceiling clip (using the anchors), in the hidden hole, I was able to lift the whole track (with another person to help me) and was able to angle and snap in the track very easily. When fully installed, you can still slide the track a bit (so long as you don't have walls blocking either end).The wheels in the track slide super smooth and the transition from one section to the next is just as smooth. The wheels are contained inside the track system, so there is no risk of them falling out. This also offers a more upscale look. I will note that the clips have an off-white plastic bit on one side, which you push on to release the track. That stands out a bit against the all-black.This worked perfectly with my black ceilings. I used it for a large curtain to bifurcate the room to make a movie room.

Our camper has a mid living area with 2 sofa sleepers - but no privacy. We were trying to figure out how we could close off a portion of the room so that our guests could have some privacy, and when we saw this we ordered it to give it a try. The track is a lightweight metal, we didn't want to use a plastic track since we are in Minnesota and campers see extreme temperatures - in winter, it can easily get well below zero and some plastics and vinyls do crack in extreme cold. It also can get above a hundred here occasionally, with the concern of warping for plastic/vinyl materials. Another concern for any camper is weight - the ceilings weren't made to support excessive weight, and this track is definitely lightweight enough to not be a problem, even for an camper ceiling. The sliding hooks glide perfectly and the hooks are durable enough to last. It's made to hold quite a bit of weight, and can easily accommodate even the heavier black out divider curtains. If there's a better solution for campers to provide privacy, I sure don't know what it could be....this track is awesome!

Tracks seem nice and sturdy. Came with plenty of bits and bobs to hang your curtain with (both clips and hooks). Given that I got the extra long set (18ft), it would have been nice if it came with extra end pieces in case I wanted to use it in multiple shorter lengths. Otherwise, the hardware is great and gives the option to mount to the ceiling or the wall and all the pieces seem up to the task.
