Choose this ceiling fan pull chain switch + CBB61 fan capacitor, and replace the old one in following cases:
- If the fan does not start or is difficult to start.
- If the fan speed decreases.
- If the fan speed can not be changed.
- Please record the wire connection before change the capacitor and fan switch in your fan.

Not much to say other than it is an identical replacement for a faulty capacitor on a ceiling fan that was barely spinning when turned on. The fan has been in operation for over 6 months since replacement. The switch was replaced as well since it came as a package deal, and it's actually better than the original.

It worked. When checked with a meter, it was good when compared with the one I removed. The old one was not. I have no idea if it is a permanent repair. Time will tell. I would buy it again.
