Item contains 2 pull chains. One for light and one for fan. Chains seem pretty durable, not thin and cheap. They look like they will stand-up to repeated pulling over time. The wood bead at the end gives a little style to the plain chain. Very easy to install, just connect to chain that is sticking out of light base/fan motor on ceiling.

These beaded balls wooded ceiling fan pull chains match lovely with my wooden ceiling fan blades. The chains are bronze & very impressive. The wooden poles are not a solid wood. They are hallow. This is something to keep in mind. They are lightweight. The 12†cord is a perfect length & are very easy to use. My picture reflects how nice they look. For $5.99 these are well worth what I paid. I do recommend.

I have a few closets with the old pull-chain and about a year ago I added something like this from a local store that had a metal ball on the end. It was nice to have the easier-to-each chain and I could bump into the ball easily. However, while the ball wasn't heavy enough to stress the hanging cord, it bounced around and if I was on a ladder to get to the higher shelves, it go in the way. (I put an LED bulb in the fixture so heat from the bulb wasn't an issue.I decided I wanted something similar for the other closet and got a pair of these because the pair was only about $2 more than a single one, and I wound up using both and replacing the one with the ball on the end. That is important because what I noticed is that the wooden oval at the end of these weighs less than you might expect. At first I thought "well, what do you expect for this price" and then realized that less is more in this case: Once you have turned on the light it's nicer to have something that doesn't swing far if you bump it and moves easily out of the way if you're reaching past it for something.If I had more places to use them, I'd buy more of these.

Great quality.wooks well. Wouled have like a little longer however that my personal preference. The color matches my wooden fan.

I chose this product because it was the lowest priced. I was happy with the quality and it worked perfectly. I use this product, once every year, so I didn't see the need for one that cost more.

I could not reach the regular pull chains on my ceiling fan so I decided to buy 12†extensions.The inexpensive $5.99 price made me a little hesitant but they turned out to be perfect.It was important that the color of the pulls matched my fan blades. The package has a pair of bronze 12†long chains and attached at the bottom of each is a wooden walnut pull.The chain and wooden pull has enough weight to hang straight and not swing around.I highly recommend this pair of pull chains and pulls. They are easy to install, look very attractive, and well worth the price.

I’m 55 so having a chain that extends in a longer than the ones that come with the fan is great
