This bag is nicely made, sturdy and has extra room for accessories.The main compartment is padded, though it could probably use a bit more.The bag fits "snugly"; there is not a lot of room for the OTA to wiggle but that also means that it takes some effort to get it in.The right bag for a Celestron C11.

I purchased the celestron 8se telescope and needed to protect my investment. The bag for the tube is nice and snug. I added a second finder scope mount to my tube and there is plenty of room . As for the tripod bag it has a very sturdy build. Lots of room for the tripod and slew mount. Zippers are very sturdy as are the straps. Should provide years of service. Thank you for a quality product.

I got this for my C9.25 SCT.Needed a carrying bag with full zipper to slide the telescope into it easily. I Also wanted to NOT have to remove the 2inch diagonal mirror at the end, and this bag nicely met this requirement.The carrying strap, web handles seem sturdy to handle the weight of the assembly. The materials and padding should be good enough to protect the tube and mirrors. I still will be careful to not ‘bang’ the bag around. It’s far safer to carry like this for field trips.Got the C11 bag for my needs. Length is perfect. The inside strap helps to OTA to stay secure, and good amount of room if you want carry extra padding.Glad I went ‘up a size’. Other reviews said the 9.25 bag was a tight fit so this isn’t a compromise.Now I need to find something for the Mount……appreciate any suggestions!

It’s a snug fit for the telescope and offers fantastic protection for it. Its additional pockets allow you to carry accessories all in the same case. It’s great quality, easy to carry around, soft padding, reliable, and a great product to make transportation easier.

I know this says it’s for a Celestron 9 1/4†OTA, but it works perfectly for my de-forked Meade LX90 8†SCT. The key is that I can leave the visual back and the Star Diagonal on the telescope when I put it away. With the smaller size bags the diagonal will not fit and has to be removed. It is well made and padded at one end. In addition the storage pocket is useful for things like the finder scope

Works ok but had a conundrum with what to do with the computer part of the telescope. Ended up finding a hard case made for the SE8 that had a place for the computerized part.

Well made of quality materials with heavy duty zippers. I took a chance that this would fit my new GSO 6†CC OTA with focuser attached. It fits very well along with the bottom half of the factory supplied styrofoam protective inserts. Still have room to provide additional cushion on top. Able to utilize the side zippered compartment for my 2â€WO diagonal, view finder and a few eyepieces. I am very happy with my purchase.

This case is perfect.. used it to carry the tube of my Nexstar 8se to Mexico.. it is the exact size for a carry on for a plane.. offers great protection and extra space to store accessories.. however I put extra cushioning around the tube before putting it in the case..
