Package arrived today in great condition. Everything was as advertised. The mount is very sturdy, no bent or defect as others have pointed out. Setup the QHYCCD polar scope, going to give everything a try and update the comment if necessary. Very happy with the purchase.

The EdgeHd scope is great, no complaints about that. The so-called mount was literally just thrown across the driveway and into the trash, I wouldn’t even give this away to somebody! I would feel guilty about the curse I just handed to them. I’ve had this mount all summer, it hasn’t worked once yet. I’ve dropped so much money on accessories and cords that supposedly get this thing to work, also some of the needed cords were literally used on printers in the 1980’s! Celestron has no documentation on the 25 different ways you can try to connect your mount to software. I never was able to get PHD guiding to recognize this mount, even after EVERY single internet “how-toâ€, still no connection.I’m not new to astrophotography, this was supposed to be my second set-up to run alongside my main scope so I can shoot one target while the other rig is running. But as I said, the mount never worked once. Celestron needs to discontinue these mounts and do some serious tech upgrades!

Although heavier than I expected, this telescope is amazing. The tracking is extremely accurate and very clear through the eyepiece. I am very happy with this purchase
