I picked up two different fence mounts to come up with a rig for a dslr. I'm using this one to support the bottom of the camera and the other one to help support the top. The shade will likely work better as we get deeper into the season, but right now the sun just isn't high enough for a top down protector to do much good. The clamps all hold well and seem to be built well. I do wish they'd have designed the fence mount portion of this one more like the second unit I purchased, which has multiple 1/4 20 threads to attach to rather than just the one as this one does. It's incredibly easy to put up, and I wasn't worried about my camera at all while using it.

However, it does mean that I occasionally need to loosen and retighten the mount, which is difficult to do without removing the sun cover. A small design revision to improve access to the tightening knob could help.Overall, I really like this style of phone mount, and the build quality of this model is excellent. I highly recommend it, though I’m rating it just shy of five stars mostly due to the difficulty in accessing the phone tightening clamp once everything is assembled and mounted.

Very unique device for attaching to fences for filming your son or daughter's baseball game. Attachment is nice and secure, and fully adjustable. The sunshield is an absolute must and would even help with light rain, although any wind driven rain would still affect the phone so know it's limitations in this regard. This is a nice 'hands free' way to film and still enjoy the game. Fun to use and easy to set up in just a minute at most. Recommended!

The quality of materials seems good but it’s bulky and difficult for me to use quickly and easily. I love the idea but I’m not sure how much I’ll use it just because it’s difficult for me to set up before I am frustrated with it.

This is a great mag phone holder for stadium fencing. I got it to stream my daughter's softball games. It has an adjustable clamp & 4 bungees that are easy to set & provides a very Firm hold into standard chain link fencing. It has a shade which is great for keeping the full sun off my phone's screen and keeping heat down. It will also withstand foul balls into the fence which is honestly is what I was really worried about. The first time I used it I used a wristlet teather clipped to the fence just incase the impact from a foul ball made it pop off the mount clamp. There were 5 hard hit fouls into the fencing, 2 really close to where my phone was and the clamp held strong thru them all much to my surprise and happiness. It also comes with a baggie & clip to hold an external battery pack. The only miss with this set is that the baggie should be large enough to hold the frame & bungees too. But otherwise - It has worked great for me.

Well made and designed, easy to set up, holds the phone securely! Shade cover is nice and big to keep the sun off of the phone and to allow you to see the screen without glare from the sun. And also comes with an adapter to mount a GoPro or similar camera. Quite literally, the only negative I can think of at all is that the corners of the aluminum frame are not rounded and can be a tiny bit sharp. But overall, this is a great solution to record games when you have a chain link fence to mount to!

I ordered this set up for my recent entry into the world of vlogging, and I was in need of a product that was going to help me position my iphone to record my vlog entries. The functionality has been great so far. The metal arm is super sturdy and the clamp, which is actually designed to clamp onto a chain link fence, is a huge upgrade from the plastic variety. The clamps are let out and clamp onto your desired placement with a set screw that bites down and doesn't slip or droop at all. I found the setup to be very straightforward and easily adapted the product to suit my needs. Another cool feature is the included sun shield for filming outdoors. It helps to protect the phone from water, should you be outside and it begins to rain. I honestly recommend this mount for your iphone, or other device and the pricing is spot on.
