The item works as described, even better than I expected.Honestly I wasn't sure and didn't have high hopes at first; but I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hardware, reliability of the software, and the fast customer support.I was using it to connect my father's 1970s touch tone phone as a Bluetooth extension on my work desk. Not only was the device easy to set up, it works very well.I attached the device to my PC so I could adjust the settings (the old cabinet phone is finicky 50 year old hardware, not the fault of the Cell2jack device). It took several attempts for the app to detect the device, but once it did it was very easy to adjust the settings.I dropped my cellphone this weekend and cracked the screen. I didn't plan on it but the Cell2jack was a lifesaver since I could still make calls while I waited for a replacement screen for my phone.Also I didn't anticipate it but it has worked out great for sleeping. I can mute all of the superfluous notifications on my phone when I go to bed and just hear the landline phone ring in the other room if I am napping and get a work call. It's easy to answer with my cell phone in bed.It reconnects quickly too when I come home, doing a much better job than my car stereo Bluetooth in preemptively detecting when my device is within range.The maker responded very quickly and helpfully when I had set-up questions.I'm very pleased with a quality item!

Works. Setup is pretty straightforward, just follow the instructions. Works well for one old phone at a time. You're cell phone works as usual. If you answer on your cell you wont hear anything as all the audio is switched to your phone line. You can answer on your cell or your old phone and talk on the old phone.I have it connected to my house line so I can plug in extra phones like I used to have it with my land line. We used to have 'conference calls' which different people on each hand-held phone. I can pick up on either phone but if I pick up the extension, and then pick up the phone closest to the cell phone, it will cut off the extension. If I pick up the phone closest to the cell, then the extension, I can hear on both and use it like I used to. I noticed that the quality of my extension phone is much better than the phone next to the cell. Oh well. There is some noise when using both old line phones at the same time and it is a bit hard to hear on one of them (the cheaper one) - wish there was a volume control to get more volume. When using any one phone, it is fine. The background noise is not really noticeable on either of my phones although my extension phone's background noise is nonexistent and the volume is higher. It is a better phone though, one from an office. I like it and am glad I got a good working cell2jack so I can pick up my phone in the other room instead of running where the cell phone is. Would definitely buy again.Edit after a couple of months: Not always consistent. Sometimes just gives silence when picking up a call and the other person gets silence also - no contact made. Recently, did not trigger the answering machine but went to voicemail on the cell phone so did not know anyone called. Also, most times now, does not connect call when pick up extension. Not reliably working.

Lo adquirà para una persona mayor que no está dispuesta a usar un celular de forma convencional. Usamos un teléfono fijo con teclas para memorias, y la configuración es bien sencilla. No se cortan las llamadas y se escucha suficientemente bien. Chequen que sus celulares tengan bluetooth bien y funcional, ya que de lo contrario no va a funcionar.

the device provide an amazing and swift integration between mobile phone and old rotary phones (or any other dial phones). no programing is required and ringing quality is good, I used it with socotel 63, worked like a charm. however I cannot use it for dialing. after referring back the problem to Cell2jack support team, they confirmed that in this stage their support and focus is on US market and they are adopting their dialing conventions. currently I am not using it awaiting any further updates to add a leading zero dialing function.

We bought our daughter a gift of a replica candle stick telephone for her 1930's themed library/reading room. The Cell2Jack allows the phone to operate in the way an original old style land line phone would have by connecting to her mobile (cell) phone via Bluetooth. She is thrilled! Her friends are blown away as to how she is able to answer an incoming call on an old candlestick phone as well as make calls by dialing out.
