I bought this for my son last year for Orchestra. So far, it's been working well for him.

I'm somewhat disappointed. I bought this to protect my hardwood flooring and to keep the cello from sliding when I play. It does protect the floor but as for the sliding issue, it doesn't help at all. The bottom is too smooth and the cello seems to slide even worse than without a stop.

Very easily slipped under the cello weight. Poor quality, I'm disappointed.

Bought this for my child to use with her cello on our wood floor. First, it looked poorly made - there was dried hot glue sticking out of the metal dimple. But worse - it just simply didn't work. It slid across the wood floor. The bottom has not traction which was the entire point of it. We returned it and got a strap that hooks onto the leg of the chair and this works MUCH better.

Works as described for my cello.

Then entire rest slips on the floor, and the screw in the middle doesn’t really give anywhere for the endpin to sit without slipping in the hole, too.

Worthless as it slips
