These good quality, extra-long lines measure 45ft on each side with the first 10ft from the snap being rolled, allowing you to directly snap to the bit or run through the bit and snap to the surcingle ring to create draw reins. Made of polyester cotton web with heavy duty snap.

I love how cushioned they are. They are so soft you don't need gloves! I wonder how they would wear, but I don't use them a whole lot, so they work great for me.

There's a lot to like about these long lines. The clips are big enough to be sturdy, but small enough to pass through the surcingle rings. The round rope end slides easily through the rings and doesn't twist or tangle, so guiding your horse is easy and light. The flat rein end is comfortable, not stiff, and has enough weight that it falls naturally when you do a change of hand or direction. I like that the reins buckle together traditionally. (I've seen other sets with tacky plastic clips that are clunky and easy to break.) The leather isnt the finest quality, but it is certainly adequate for the work.I would prefer to have heavy cotton webbing for the rein section rather than the padded polyester reins, but it's not a big deal; these work just fine and I'm very happy with them.

I find them too short for long lining in a standard sized round pen of 60ft if you want your horse on the rail; but ground driving out of the pen these are an excellent choice. I find them very comfortable, of good weight and easy to work with the backpad and other equipment. Very good set of lines out of the options available anywhere without ordering a custom set which is closer to three times the cost.

very nice quality. The round nylon bit ends are wonderful and have no friction through the terret rings on my surcingle. I was using harness betathane reins and there was quite a bit of friction leading to not only little feel of my horses mouth even times where bit pressure wouldn't release quickly. The length is a bit too long for my 60ft round pen and 17 hand Thoroughbred. (I'll just have to get good at organizing the extra length). The handler's end of these long reins is padded and easy to grip tightly if needed but also easily sides through your hands if needed. The only thing I didn't expect was how springy the lines are. I've yet to decide if this is good or bad. I like the thought of subtle "protection" of the mouth but could be seen as taking away from the true feel of the horses mouth. I'm not convinced that the stretch may go away after more use. The length is a bit too long for my 60ft round pen and 17 hand Thoroughbred. Either way, I'm looking forward to using these in my training sessions.

Turned out to be just what I was looking for. Perfect weight, soft feel and I like that they can be connected or separated!

I love these lines! They are light weight, soft on the hands, and pleasant to use. The rolled ends make threading them through other equipment a breeze, and the snaps are very convenient. The webbed sections make holding on to them much easier, which means more precise cues. The only "issue" I have had is that they are hard to dust off if they get shavings or hay on them, but I prefer that to the issues I've encountered with other lines.

These lines feel great in the hand and are the perfect length for ground driving and double lunging. I have a 17h KWPN gelding who can get very strong on long lines and these are excellent and not slippery or chunky at all. Nicely padded and the rolled ends fit perfectly through the rollers. My only wish would be to have loops at the end of each line (just before the buckle, along the strap) to reduce the confusion of line length and keep from dropping line ends in the dirt. I don’t think it’s safe to have lines dragging all over the ground, and I don’t use them buckled together as it makes them a bit clumsy for me to adjust evenly, but then the open buckle ends always get dropped. But that said, I’m still perfectly happy with all other aspects of these reins, love using them for training, and I’m like Goldilocks with horse equipment!!

Works like it should. Line material is soft and did pick up leaves and small debris but that's no problem.
