I had a cheap set of these bits before, but they kept getting stuck or the bit would come loose in the housing.This one is worth the extra spend, especially when making something like a cribbage board with dozens of holes to drill through a template.Also excellent for hinges on cabinet doors. Highly recommended.

I bought this product to make holes in a cribbage board. It's the perfect sized bit for larger pegs, and is designed to stop the bit at a specific depth. It does this very effectively! A couple of drawbacks: It's a little wobbly, and can be hard to get it right on a specific spot. A drill press would be better, but this is the next best thing. Also, if you push down too hard when you drill a hole, the guide will leave a ring indentation around the hole.

I have tried numerous centering bits and these are the very best . they last and the centering device does not stick. which is the compliant I had with the other ones.

If you like good quality tools don't buy this. The first centering bit I ordered wobbled so much it couldn't have possibly bored a 3/32" hole. I reordered thinking any body could produce a dud every once in while. I just received my second centering bit and it also has a severe wobble. Furthermore, the info from Amazon on this tool states it's made in the USA but the package clearly states Made In China.

pense que al pagar 4 veces el precio de uno de calidad mediana, conseguiria algo increible, que no se bloquea, y expulsa muy bien el asserin, no es el caso, ni siquiera en pino, es una herramienta, normal...
