I like that you can fold and store the "work horses" out of the way. They work well and are easy to assemble

Great with 2x4s to hang Prairie dog metal targets from. Sturdy enough for the job. Recommend

The brakets are OK for occasional use like an homeowner would, but for some heavy use, they are too weak and flimsy

My own fault for not more carefully reading the description, but was disappointed that the brackets were for only for making one saw horse, not two. (Does anyone just use one saw horse?) So, I would have bought a pair of ready-made folding steel saw horses for less money than it cost to make my own using these brackets after the cost of lumber. Also not thrilled with the tight angle of finished product which made my saw horses less stable than I would have liked. Could shorten the length of the legs to create a wider stance, but that would have made the finished product too short in overall height for my preferences. Did not find these to be a good value, but quality and accuracy of the brackets was fine.

This product was easy to use and has proved sturdy and reliable. And great technology for such a simple need.

These are called "heavy-duty" but nowhere do I find a recommendation of a weight limit. I would call them "medium-duty" and designed for intermittent or temporary use. I don't know that I would trust them to support anything very heavy nor anything which would fall and cause damage or harm. They are pretty straight-forward. There is a chart for determining the length each leg needs to be cut to arrive at a given height. Each kit makes ONE sawhorse, so in typical situations you will need TWO kits to make TWO sawhorses. I would cut all the legs at the same time so you are sure they will be uniform. Insert the 2x4 into each leg socket and run a screw into the wood to secure it. Securing the cross piece is optional. It will work under lightweight situations simply by letting the "teeth" in the bracket hold the cross piece, however if you want more security drive screw in there as well. If you want to fold these up for storage, you remove the cross piece and fold the legs at the hinge. I bought these for the legs to make temporary tables out of 4x8 sheets of plywood for garage sales and such.

Nice solid sawhorse brackets but doesn't give an actual rating for weight restrictions. Was going to use them for supporting a camper when I took it off my truck. I do use the hydraulic jacks to support most of the weight, so will see if this works out. They do say that they are heavy duty.
