I I use this item to open up my speaker box the speakers were a bit oversized worked magnificently on the drill would highly recommend

Nice tool. I still neede3d to sand the rubber wheel just a tiny bit to get the abrasive on. But this is a whole lot better than the other one they sell on Amazon.

These work well for sanding wood or the micarta I use in knife handles. Now to go off track a bit, I also chuck this in my mill and bolt a pulley to my milling table. Then I use this as a drive wheel with a 30" sanding belt stretched between this and the pulley on the mill table. Instant 30" horizontal belt sander. Probably not what the manufacturer intended when they sold this but it works so well that I won't buy another cheap belt sander ever again.

First time used in my drill press and the sanding paper locking nut tightened itself so much it tore apart the paper. Returned.

Handy for sanding curved wood the drum does slide off while sanding, annoying. This happened more frequently when using my left hand than right hand
