Because I needed to chase some threads on my old tractor I bought this to help me. It was a fair price (compaired to some of the local stores) and it looks to have enough quality to clean up some old bolts and stuff on my tractor. I will use a socket to run it on because I do mot have this big of a tap wrench. I have used it on several bolts and on my front axel shaft to clean up or restore the threads. It seemed to work well. It arrived quite quickly. And the price sheap enough fo me. I am happy.

Repaired damaged threads on hydraulic cylinder Crome shaft. I was able to reuse expensive shaft instead of replacing. Paid for itself first use. Die seems to be a quality product and did a professional job

What is the minor size? I needed it to chase some 1" bolts. I'm assuming this is for 100% thread because I couldn't even get it started on a normal 70% threaded bolt. It was a waste of money for me.
