I have several bowls and plates I use, but so far these are the winners. They are shallow and wide allowing for plenty of space to eat but they have a nice rim to prevent them from pushing the food off the sides. I have 1 picky eater, 1 sort of picky eater and 1 will eat anything eater no one minds the size. These bowl clean up nicely and my two cats that insist on burying their food cannot flip them as they are sturdy. I did buy the white because one of my cats is afraid of colors on his bowls. But I have no complaints.

Very attractive. Wide enough not to irritate whiskers. Lip on the bowl prevents food from being pushed onto the floor. Ordering another set for my granddaughter’s little cats.

I bought these, and a different set of ceramic bowls, to replace the metal bowls that I've used for years with a couple of generations of cats. These look so much nicer than the metal bowls, but even better they are wider, so you can spread the food out a bit more and the cat's whiskers don't have to touch the sides. I got them in the dark green which looks great on our light colored floor and makes them a bit more obvious so they only get stepped on or punted across the floor a couple of times a day, rather than a bunch of times. They don't flip over like the metal bowls do if you step on the side by mistake. Speaking of which, they so far have been very sturdy and the one knocked off the counter by a cat jumping into it doesn't have a mark. I also use these for our Pomeranian's food depending on what he's eating. Recommend!

These are nice little bowls, easy to clean, and wide enough to not cause whisker fatigue. However! they chip VERY easily! Obviously I would suggest hand-washing only given their nature (it might even say handwash only, I forget honestly), but do note that if you chip them, they become effectively useless as ceramic is a porous material. I wouldn't recommend them for anything but dry pet foods.

Love these!! The cats like these because they don't bother their whiskers. Very good quality and value, worth the money. These come clean like any dishes. Very good all around, would highly recommend.

Cats love them, nice low sides and wide enough to easily and comfortablely eat from, they don't slide or rock. I love them, easy to clean and pretty colors as a bonus!

Good quality and beautiful but did NOT even closely resemble the color I thought I was getting. The color in the picture looked like a teal but when I got them, they were forest green :( I gave them away.

I was looking for a set of 3 shallow dishes for my kitten, as I like to use one for water, one for dry food and one for wet food. It was surprisingly difficult to find a set of 3 dishes that I liked the appearance of, and were affordable. I liked the look of these, and purchased a set after reading some reviews. I'm very pleased with them, the blue-grey colour I selected looks quite accurate to the pictures. I don't think these dishes are too large at all, they're a good size for a cat to use without whisker stress. They're nice and wide, with a lip around the edge that isn't too shallow so it will work as a water dish. They arrived packaged well with no damage, they feel like decent quality and look good too. Happy with my purchase.

They are a serious upgrade to bowls far too deep that I've used for various pets over the past 25 years. You get three and they have a low rim. Birthday presents for my Humane Society cat, the nicest cat I have ever had! She will love them! No more whisker fatigue as they are wide and narrow so she doesn't have to stuff her face down deep into a bowl touching her whiskers on the sides.

So the plates are beautiful and seem to be of great quality. Yes they are shallow but significantly larger than expected. They are advertised as perfect “cat bowls†but are quite large for even a bigger cat. See picture reference for size comparison - the white ones are the plates purchased vs the sage coloured ones and the stainless steel ones that are from a pet store actually intended for cat food. So unless you have a massive Maine coon cat I don’t think these will suit the purpose.The amount of food per sitting for my cats is way too tiny for these huge plates and they just end up smearing it around all over and not finishing their meal cause it’s exhausting liking it around this oversized plate.
