First, let me say it was my fault for not paying attention to the gauge wire is being used in this set of jumper cables. The 14 gauge wire is useless and if you were trying to charge your battery or jump your battery with these wires, it would take an awfully long time. Do yourself a favor and get jumper cables that are at least 12 gauge or better aslo keep in mind an air cooled motorcycle can’t run very long so you will need cables that can handle the load as far as the company they did send me what I asked for.

Clamps are wimpy but so are the original ones that came with my Battery Tender (brand) one. Since there is not a lot of mechanical stress it shouldn't matter much though.The reason I am giving only 4 stars is because of the reversed polarity and the fact that there is ZERO mention of this anywhere other than in Amazon listing itself. It does not come with a manual nor is this printed on the packaging.Heck, they actually included an adapter that reverses plus and minus to make it right, so why not include a little note that states this?

The connections with this product worked perfectly with my Battery Tender charger. A adapter is included if you need to reverse the positive and negative leads that go on the battery, which I needed to do. Quality of all components was excellent.

At first I thought these cables did not work, then I realized they wires are the wrong way around. Once I switched the clamps to around, they worked. Fortunately this did not cause any damage to my application, but it could have, so beware.So I have to add a label to each clamp to remind myself the wires are transposed, red should be black and vice versa!!! Bit of a pain, but we can work around it......

Used to power 12v pump for shower while camping. Also purchased the ends to wire to pump. Make sure positive and negative don't get switched when connecting plug end
