As a noise isolator this item works just fine. I am still toying about with it to get the best sound out of a pair of turntables but as far as getting rid of a feedback loop it is working great. Does it go before or after a phono preamp for best results? I have no idea! I will know soon though.

I love this RCA noise isolator! There's a lot of FUD online about products like this but as a tech veteran of 40+ years I can tell you this absolutely works. There is zero complexity to the installation - just plug it in before the final input cables on your device, directly to the AV receiver (for example) if possible. In my testing, it was as simple as putting this between my legacy electronics and my main AV receiver. The hum (as you would expect) simply disappeared and i did not notice any kind of audio degradation with the isolator in place. It even stops that annoying "finger touch" loud hum/distortion when you are plugging audio cables in without turning off your equipment (you shouldn't do that, but we all do it, don't we?).Recommended!
