Got these to pair up with my Marantz NR1200 2.1 channel avr and a Polk PSW10 powered sub to go along with a 40†Philips LED TV and Panasonic bluray disc player and I now have a sweet little setup in my bedroom.The speakers are well built, look good with the grills on, and produce clear dialogue and a good overall sound spectrum.Combined with proper bass management from my Marantz, and I can thump my bedroom at will if I want.Bottom line: Good for movies, music and regular television programs, but I would limit them to bedroom or small room usage.For larger areas, I would go with the SL-12 or SL-15’s.Overall, pleased with my purchase and highly recommend!

Purchased these to pair with my Denon AVR-3600 Home Theater receiver. Already had a powered 10" Klipsch Sub Woofer and a pair of Polk Audio 2 way Bookshelf speakers. Wanted to add this missing dimension to the front pair of speakers and was limited in size. The 10" square footprint and 31.5" height was perfect for our wall of sound!Great compliment to the existing Audio components and with the price at $200 each they were right in our sweet spot. Very happy with the overall sound and performance thus far. It did take an extra week for the second speaker to arrive. Amazon shipped them from two different locations but they matched perfectly. Very happy with their performance thus far! Have had them since mid December 2019.

I am an older fellow and I live in a duplex, so I have to be careful about too much volume....but I tested it and it's there. Good booming from the bass and at mid-range and above since my hearing is lacking in that range ( I'll be 75 next month ), I really can't relate. But, I'm glad I bought them; they look great, too.

My first pair were U351s back in 1982. I still own/use them. These are my latest of 5 pair. I use these with a topping TP23 amp for my computer desk for now. Awesome for movies, computer games, No sub needed, AT ALL. Weakest with Orchestra music which is best heard on speakers sealed enclosures with large woofers. They sound good with everything, but great with Rock, Games, and movies.
