This is so useful, I put the title of my review in all caps to shout it at you. I was having issues with my chain popping off the sprocket, dispite my checking everything. My alignment was done with the hash marks on the swing arm. Spoiler alert, those marks were wrong. With this tool I was able to get everything lined up and now I have no more issues. Don't know if the swing arm was bent, or what, but this $10 tool saved my bacon. I recommend it as a double check alignment tool to anyone with a chain drive motorcycle.

Kind of a gimmick. If you have a ruler it does the same job when you measure both sides of the rear wheel. Good vision lineup, but us old school mechanics know how to properly align for less. Installation on the 520 chain slips a bit, and not easiest tool and value for the money is questionable

The alignment rod looks longer in the photos than in person. It's pretty short. The tool is helpful for "basic" or "general" alignment of the chain, but the rod needs to be longer for better precision of the chain alignment. It's ok for the price. I'll probably shop for a longer rod at local pipe/rod specialty place in town.
