I used these corners to build a gate. The gate seemed strong and looked very good. Recently my 55lb grandchild ran into the gate and one of these corners sheered clean at the center of the corner. She must have hit it hard but really? I am grateful that the part failed and the child was uninjured. I would have to say these are not durable enough to withstand the force of a small child. To be fair, I had added screws into them through the sides to secure the fence tubing from being able to rotate so as to hold the gate square and plumb. The gate these were attached to was 4ft x 6ft.

Got here on time. I am using the corners to make a guard rail around an elevated deck I just made out of chain link fence rails. Box stores had them but they do not have the same nice finish and they charge more.
