IMPORTANT! - NEVER use any chalk markers on chalkboard paint or low quality porous chalkboards.
How to get started.
1. Shake well before each use. These nontoxic, water-based markers need to be shaken thoroughly before use to mix the pigment. We recommend shaking the capped marker until you hear the ball move freely (30 seconds to a minute). If you don’t hear the ball moving inside, remove cap, press marker tip down once to release pressure, replace cap, and then shake again. Be sure marker is tightly capped and hold your finger over the cap while shaking to avoid splatter. Test flow before re-shaking.
2. Prime the marker.
On scrap paper gently press the bullet tip until you see the color reach the base of the nib. Once full, further pressure will cause the marker to leak and puddle.
3. Prime your chalkboard.
Be sure to prime your non-porous chalkboard before use by rubbing regular chalk the board and then wiping it off with a dry paper towel or rag (if you don’t have chalk on hand, you can substitute with corn starch or baby powder). Remove liquid chalk marker with a wet rag or paper towel.

These work great! Nice vibrant colors. Great quality great inflow. Fun to use. Be sure your ink is dry before touching. It dries quick, just caution. I have used this set mutable times since purchase, and the ink hasn’t dried out at all! Great product and value

They have vibrant color and plenty of fluid but dry to the touch quickly. They did not work for the Craft I purchased for making paper succulents, My own fault I was just experimenting. I will have plenty of other projects to use them for.

The chalk markers draw on pretty easily and look great. There are two downsides. First, you will need to have a surface you don't care about to prep them on because the paint will sploosh out a lot when you push the tip down to get it going. Second, you do need to do like a second layer usually on the yellow which is a little difficult given the liquid nature of them.

These markers work alright, but it can be difficult getting the ink to come down into the felt tip. Once the ink is in the felt tip, the time to write before needing to shake more ink to the tip is limited. Often the writing is either super drippy or barely visible at all. These markers work, but they aren't super convenient. I would probably get regular chalk before investing in these markers.
