I had high hopes for this tool, but was sadly disappointed. Trying to make a lemon twist with this is nearly impossible as the blade is too thick and dull to actually make a proper twist.

A coworker of mine and I had a whole conversation about citrus... She said she likes zest more than the actual citrus juice. It was interesting and funny since I’m the complete opposite. I saw this and knew it was meant to be! Just the day before we had the conversation. I’m happy to say she loved this and has used it.

Handy tool to zest or garnish fruit. Feels nice in your hand . Easier to store than a larger zoster.

This zester is much easier to use than the side of my cheese grater. It did well in the dishwasher after I got it, and the thicker blade is very easy to use. The five finer blades, which I assume is why most people would buy this, require a lot of force to get an even zest. Still, it does a good job, and lemon rinds are tough to begin with. I normally just ignore parts of recipes that call for zesting, so I am happy to have this to improve my cooking.

This is regarding the Channel Knife, 2 in 1 Lemon Peeler Zester Cocktail Garnish Citrus Zester 5 Baldes Ultra Sharp Lemon Rind Twist Peeler Stainless Steel Bar Tool Professional Grade Bar Accessory (Sliver) by BENEKIY.It does it's job well. It's just sharp enough to to make the rind twist or some zest, but not so sharp as to not release the flavor within. That being said, a little force is needed to make it work well.The metal is resonably high quality, I think this will last some time.The handle is well made and comfortable. It really sets it apart from the dollar value versions.This is a good purchase at this price point.
