The price and value is great, and I have no problem with the keystone inserts on these. My complaint is that on this brand of insert, the Decora cutout was sized so close to the wall plate cutout that it actually somewhat snaps into place. This makes things difficult when you are trying to position 2 inserts on a 2-gang cover plate and assemble everything into the box.To really get this insert to lock into the cover plate, you have to put your finger behind it and push it into place flush with the over. That's impossible to do when you have a mounting screw that's securing it to the wall box and you have 2 inserts to deal with. The name brands of these have a bit of float and fit a slight big loose in the cover plate's Decor cutout so they can properly seat in the wall cover plate, but this one is simply too tight. I fixed the issue by filing the wall plate slightly on all sides. I also tried multiple name brand plates, and these fit tightly into all of them.I will add that the hole for the wall plate screw is not threaded and has no metal insert like the name brands, so if you want to use the screws that come with the wall plate, you will have to either tap the hole or force the wall plate into the hole, creating your own threads in the plastic by force. The plates come with some sheet metal thread screws that were intended to be used for the wall plate, but they don't look too great and have a different appearance when finished from the other plates in the home. They are indeed inexpensive, if the added compromises are worth it.

The wallplate holes for attaching the faceplate aren't threaded and don't fit the screws that came with my standard Decora faceplates. I had to use a 1/8" drill bit to expand the holes, and they're still not threaded. Not the end of the world, I was able to make it work with some effort, but I shouldn't have to do that. Both the 3-port and 6-port QuickPort Decora Keystone inserts I bought are threaded and fit the wallplate perfectly. What's up with this 2-port version being such a pain?

3 of the 5 in the pack we're malformed and unusable. One of them was severely melted. How did everyone else get good products and I got 3/5 pieces of junk?

These keystone port decora plates do not accept standard cover plates such as Hampton bay Declan. The standoffs are too high.
