The large on/off lever is easy to grab and push or pull to turn the water on or off. The twist nozzle is extra-large to grip and change the spray pattern from a heavy straight stream to a shower. Thermoplastic rubber coats the durable zinc body and it handles up to 250 PSI of water pressure. Working nozzle pressure does depend on the water pressure available. Works great and very high flow. A little on the large size, I don't think the red rubber part needs to be that big. Also when you lay it on the ground and it gets dragged, the lever can get caught and turn on.

I've been buying these for years. They last longer than any other and the spray is stronger and more powerful than anything other. I have three on our three hoses and will continue to buy this Fireman's Nozzle.

We've only had the two we bought for a month, but we have no complaints. Haven't yet driven over one with the car (the reason we had to replace them); don't expect they'll hold up well after that. Expect them to weather if left out, that's what rubber does. But even after smashing and weathering, our last two held up for nearly a decade.

Buyer beware, this is a poorly built hose. There are two places in this hose where weak plastic is used to connect and control water flow. The first broke from the front, and after I spent some time trying to glue it back, another from the center broke as well. Shoddy materials used in this product. Avoid and save yourself some money.

Remember to un-hook from garden hose in cold weather. Can freeze and brake.

Only works well with high flow and pressure. The lever is backwards. With real Fire Service nozzles, the off position is forward so if the back pressure is too great there is a chance that it will get shut off if control is lost. Solid build but flawed.

the best nozzle i have ever used, i have around 70psi with a 3/4 garden hose and this thing shoots a thick spray 50ft.anything under 40 or 50psi is not going to cut it.

Worked awesome for about a week. Now it leaks out of one of the screws on the handle making it practically unusable.
