Featuring a heavy-duty, waterproof, zipper-top bag, it’s compatible with a variety of seeds and granular fertilizers. A stationary rear baffle keeps seeds from filling your shoes and pockets, an enclosed gear box protects the gears from the elements, and a padded, adjustable shoulder strap and a convenient application chart (located on the bottom of the spreader) make this spreader easy to use. This unit is not recommended for salt products, sand and sand mixes.

Worked great, easy to apply the weed and feed! Used it to apply miracle grow granules to the neighbors garden. Will be using this to apply other things to our yard and the field.

Spreader works better than the standard handheld units but once there is not a ton left in the bag it spreads bad. It allows for more space than the other handheld units and the price was right so I will keep it and use it on my lawn and food plots. It is also a pain to fill it by yourself because the bag doesn't like to stay open. I read someone else recommended cutting a milk jug top and bottom off to leave on the inside so I am planning to try that out next time I use it.

Like the title says, I like this thing better than my push spreaders. Easy to load, easy to open the gate to spread, faster than a push spreader

Maybe I am using it wrong. But it is not super easy to use. I ended up tossing it with my hand. But it might have been me and my own impatience. Filling it up sucks. Try holding a 50 pound bag over a 8 pound flimsy bag to fill it. Just use a cup. Needs a hip thingy to hold in place on your body. BUt what can I expect for the price. You and I are looking at this for price. You get what you pay for. Bag is great construction. Rest is cheap and flimsy.

We really like the spreader as we can easily adjust the throw distance and the quantity quickly.I have an at spreader, but I use this spreader most of the time as it provides better results.Filling the spreader with seed can be a pain cuz the flexible sides sometimes want to flop over.

I was disappointed in every aspect of this product.First is loading. The bag is so flimsy that there is no way to fill it in a single motion. You need to fill a little then life the sides then fill and lift the sides multiple times. Then you zip it up and it tips over. Which would be fine because there is a zipper but the zipper just unzips and allows all the content to go onto the ground. Then there is actually putting this on. It does not balance well so you constantly need to be supporting it with your non turning hand. But you can only place your hand on the very end which is not much help. With the only real option being put your hand where the spinning wheel is and hope you don’t move in a way that gets it hit.Speeding I can break into two parts. To start spreading you must be already spinning and then release then blindly choose the amount to release. Or if you want you can lean and tilt the tool and look. But the position for you to see the amount makes it so your body blocks the spinning so then product is dropping on the ground. Then there is the spreading itself. It is quite hard to get a consistent spread when you have to basically reset the amount of product you are dispensing every time you need to turn. This tool is just too much of a hassle to make it worth it. All the issues I outlined other products have addressed and fixed.

This product is a step up from the old style. Figure out how to attach the straps so it’s the most comfortable for you and load it up and go. I don’t think you can put 25 pounds of seed in it, but you can certainly put enough to get a large area done. I suggest you walk with your thumb or fingers on the flow rate slider and move it back-and-forth as you need to. All in all it made the spreading of the millet seed for our duck pond very easy.

I used to have a spreader I bought from Soutern States Hardware years ago. It worked great and was easy to handle. Someone “borrowed “ it and I never saw it again. This thing is just awkward as all get out. The hip placement needs to be twice as big, the strap needs to be twice as long and the whole thing feels cheap. It fills yours shoes with seed. I question if this is Made in the USA. I strongly suspect it is packed in the USA with parts that are made in China… You have to assemble it yourself. I guess if you are a tiny person with a very small area it might be acceptable but it didn’t work out for me. I’m really disappointed in all this cheap crud especially when they mislead you with American made. I know American made and this isn’t it.

Much better made than the other similar brand however the opening leaver could be much better as it needs a stopper, have to use my finger in the right place so you know where correct setting is.

Très content de ce produit j'ai pu semer 6000 mètres carrés d'engrais vert (seigle fourrager et pois fourrager) en moins de 2 heures sur ma partie maraîchage.
