PROS:1. The PurePail Charcoal Filter works! It eliminates the odor from the diaper pail almost immediately and keeps your bathroom smelling fresh.2. The price is great, little under $9 for three filters.CONS:1. It does not last for 30 days. After 10 days it started to lose its effectiveness. I ended up having to change it on the 19th day since the odor from the diaper pail just got worse.I would certainly recommended this brand, since it made a huge difference. Just make sure you change the filter every two weeks.

I bought these only because I have the PurePail diaper trash can and they don’t work, at least for us. I’ve tried using two instead of one in the filter and it still doesn’t hide the scent of used diapers. A basic air freshener in the bottom of the can works better.

I will say that these definitely work to control the scent in the diaper disposal can. I must say it is a pain to have to add this along with bags to purchase regularly, but you will know when to change them out without looking at the date just by the smell coming out of the can when you open it.

I don’t really think the product works all the well to begin with, in addition the packaging I received was all crushed up and damaged. I like the Ubi smell absorbing pods the most and I just put them on the bottom under the bag.
