There are two types of connectors for cables used with different generations of Kindle and Samsung Galaxy devices. The first connector type is for older models of these devices, while the second type is for newer models. The older model connector differs from the newer one, which is a USB-C connector.

This cord works perfectly with my Android S20. It's got a good length to it so I can plug it in from across the room to reach my TV tray. It charges pretty quick too.

This replacement for my Kindle that I purchased in 2011 is perfect. It fits. However, I wish I knew the length. It is a little too short for where I charge my Kindle. I purchased this one rather than the 6 foot one because the comments said it would be perfect for my older Kindle. Oh, well, it seems to work for my older Tablet also so, the price was right. I can switch things around.

Please do not waste your money on these. I. Literally bought 3 of them for my kids tablets and one didn’t work right out of the package. Then one by one the other two just stopped working. At first you had to position the cord a certain way then they just stopped working. Worst chargers ever. Especially when I got 3 of them and they ALL had were defective.
