This works perfectly for my Fitbit. Charges my watch fast and is easy to use. The cord is long enough to have it on my nightstand and charge my watch. The magnet is strong enough to keep the watch and charger connected.

Our old charger's pins were damaged (by use?) and charging was flakey. This is a perfect replacement that works well.

It charges my Fitbit Versa 3 fairly fast, but I get a "Slow charging..." message on my watch.I got this in a hurry because the original got wet and stopped working, and my watch was down down to 37% in power. It arrived in 2 days!From the other reviews, I don't expect it to last very long, though. So I ordered another charger (also generic).I didn't notice any heating up or smoke, but I keep my eye on this charger per the warning from another reviewer. Certainly don't want to set my house on fire!

When I used it the 1st time, it charged fine. But the 2nd time, it seemed to hsve a poor connection to my watch, so after jiggling it several times, it FINALLY charged my watch, after being plugged up 8hrs. And now, my earch has been plugged up 16hrs and still hasn't charged. Its like the connection is off a bit, so Im going to buy the original Garmin charger. SMH.
