I've owned several grills, and I've always bought the listed cover from the same manufacturer for any said grill. They all pretty much perform the same, most are "water proof" for a few months until the sun gets to them, and suddenly you're left with a wet grill. They fade horribly and really cause an eyesore on your patio or deck. This cover however is a whole different ball game. It has a nice feel to it, not scratchy low-quality nylon with a waterproofing spray over top. It is notably heavy, which is good because it has no way of actually fastening to the grill. That doesn't matter however, as it actually reaches the ground when it's placed over the grill. I think that and its fit and weight contribute to this thing never once making me worry of it blowing off. We've had a few good storms, with wind and rain and whatnot, and the water just beads and pools in spots...but NEVER soaks through, and NEVER once has shown any signs of blowing away. I've had it for 5 months now and it hasn't faded one bit (even the printed logo). It fits like a glove for your grill, and the best part is that it is modular. It fits a few different model variations that are listed on each package of the cover. The best part is if I decide to buy the offset smoker for the grill it has a pocket on the side that is discreetly held down with velcro while not in use. You almost would never know it was there if you didn't know to look for it. I love the insight that Char-Griller has put into its covers. This coupled with the grill I bought (model #2929) I just might be a little brand-loyal from now on.

It really saves on the maintenance, you don't have to clean and oil the grill nearly as often. It protects it nicely.Seems to be well made. It is holding up very well.

I'm posting this review on Day 1 of my 2nd Char-Griller #5555 cover.I purchased the first one from L*wes for a similar price in March 2012 and it was made of the same type of material with identical construction. After the first month of use the grill cover had begun to fade (Pictures attached). I contacted Char-Griller directly and they told me that the fading was purely cosmetic and that "If the cover becomes damaged, it has a one year warranty on it."I continued to ignore the fading for the rest of the year, and let a small tear in the wing table section slide since it wasn't noticeable, but on Sunday 5/5/13 it finally ripped through at the smoke stack.I am going to contact Char-Griller and see if they can extend the warranty to 13 months for me, but even if they don't I am having a hard time being disappointed with the cover. It fit nicely, looked great, and protected my grill perfectly for a full year. I figure that's about all I can ask of a $25 grill cover, especially when the generic plastic ones go for almost that much.I will update my review in a month or two if I start to see fading again, and I will also let folks know what Char-Griller has to say about the warranty.Regardless of the outcome, I would highly recommend this cover to anyone with a Char-Griller grill. The fit is perfect and it looks great, even after it starts to fade a bit.[...]

Although I do not have a Char-Griller grill, this cover fits my Kingsford perfectly. It weathers the worst of storms and it protects during the winter months. Also, though I don't have a right-side table (which is a feature of this cover), there is Velcro which allows that side of the cover to be shortened so that it fits snugly. Of course, you should make sure that the measurements of your grill will accommodate this cover, but don't be put off if the measurements are right but you don't have a Char-Griller grill. This cover works perfectly.

I bought this expecting a half hearted attempt at a generic cover made of thin material.Pleasantly surprised. Very thick and durable material, fits like a glove despite the BBQ being a brand new model this year.Let’s see how it handles the wind and rain of Great Britain.
