Great for grating cheese if you need a large quantity. Very quick and easy.You need to cut a block of cheese into sections to fit into the hopper, but it grates nicely. Don't push down too hard when feeding the cheese into the hopper, it gives a lighter grate and more volume from a block.The only down side is of course the clean up. But honestly not much different than any other cheese grater.The suction feature works great on my granite counter top.I haven't tried any of the other slicing/shredding attachments.Overall very satisfied with my purchase.Would definitely recommend this product.

Works well. Suctioned very well to granite countertop. Quickly grates/shreds/slices vegetables or cheddar cheese in no time at all. (Hint: Grate cheese right out of fridge. Do not let cheese soften before shredding) I like that it is not a bulky kitchen tool, which makes for easy storage for those who don’t have a lot of cupboard space.

I've used it for onions, cheese, carrots and potatoes. It worked pretty good for each.

This thing grates cheese like there’s no tomorrow. Easy to clean and fun to use. The suction bottom stays in place (at least on granite). The unit appears to be well made. I’ve had other “things†like this that break after the first use and this is much much better. The only thing my wife says is that she wishes there was a finer grater for Parmesan cheese.

Perfect! I’ve only used it to chop nuts so far but it holds on the counter like it’s supposed to, chops well and cleans up easily.

I have dexterity issues and have never been comfortable using box graters, so when I saw this neat little crank grater, I knew I had to try it out. This things works amazingly for harder items like root vegetables and very hard cheeses like parmesan, but can be a little uneven for softer cheeses that end up getting smushed between the drum and the housing. This is not a dealbreaker for me, as I appreciate the ability to keep my fingers away from the blades too much to let that little gap get in my way of using this item. The bits of cheese that get stuck in that gap are still perfectly usable, after all, so it's not as if the cheese is wasted.I particularly love the suction base safety feature, which makes an excellent seal with any non-porous surface. I could not get this thing to budge once the suction function was engaged!I do wish the grater drums were dishwasher safe, but we just use our cut-resistant gloves when cleaning the drums. It's not perfect, but it's pretty darn good.
